Note: their 12 chamber model is not at all more effective in moving lymph and circulation. It just feels way more comfortable especially during a 20 second super fast cycle. (the x large sleeve they have takes about 30 seconds for a cycle. Those with skinnier legs will take around 30 seconds as more air needs to be filled. The Lympha Pump claims they have the fastest cycle time on the market. There was only one other brand I tested that came within a second to their 20 second time but it was not made as well. I don't approve of brands that are not 100% latex free and don't use 200 denier nylon at price points over $1000. Only Normatec and Recovery Pump have this also on the cash market brands that can be bought without a prescription. If someone is not going to be using insurance, those 2 brands are the best I have found but they are totally different. One works on a sequential gradient and the other brand works on a peristaltic gradient. Normatec feels way more comfortable with their peristaltic gradient and is why the Normatec wins every comfort test I've done. Athletes almost every time choose the Normatec. It is easier to go up to higher pressures with a peristaltic gradient than a sequential. I can handle 110 to 140 mmhg on the pulse type like the Normatec has but if I use that same pressure just say on a Recovery Pump no way. The best question is to ask yourself is if you want something more effective but not as comfortable or you want something that is very comfortable that you may have to use the compression machine much longer to get the same effect. Lower efficiency is fine if you have the time to do it.
Lymphapress Review:
The Lympha Press out of all the brands I took apart had the largest compressor. I was confused when it only went up to 90mmhg and on others with a smaller compressor like the BAO went up to 140mmhg. They told me they cap it at 90 for insurance purposes. They said it could go higher but for FDA requirements they had to cap it at 90. This is only for the ones sold to the USA. I would assume if someone was in Canada they could get it uncapped.

So the big difference in this machine is that it realizes the true pressure on the person's legs or arms. Some will tell you it is at 100mmhg but in Colorado it might only be much lower. The true pressure is realized on the patient's legs. The compressor shuts off when it realizes the pressure not matter what altitude.
Note: it takes more air to fill at higher altitudes. Even in Colorado it still took less than 30 seconds for a full leg cycle. It took 4 more seconds in that state that the state I normally use it at.

Note: the Pcb52 models is the most prescribed brand in the country and the machine most insurance companies are familiar with. The best places to get a prescription from are podiatrists, MDS that work with lymphadema/lipadema, and wound care centers. You cannot get insurance to pay for over the counter brands. Only the ones that insurance covers are the companies that make claims on their site. If you email me your zip code I and your health concern I can put you in touch with the right person. This was the first company that tagged lymphatic proteins with red dye and showed it getting reabsorbed. LymphaPress has the most clinical reviews and is the most accepted with insurance.

If you do get a prescription and haven't met your deductible this is the only company I know that will hold the claim for up to a full year to make it affordable for people that haven't met their deductible.

Note: for people that have a small deductible that they will only pay for the first leg sleeve or arm sleeve and compressor, I urge people to get the most accessories they can get the first time because if you get the 4 or 8 chamber model and just that and a year later want to get the arm sleeves or the 12 chamber model, sometimes it's hard to get a 2nd purchase.

READ THIS FIRST - VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE
Lympha Press Compression Review:
The Lymphapress is the most called about medical grade (can only be bought with a prescription) (I have a list of doctors in each state you can get a prescription if you have edema, lymphadema, lipadema and any of the diagnosis's on the insurance list from each company that they will pay 100% of your compression machine. They will only pay for brands that are on their list.
If you have Medicare or Medicade they 99.99% of the time pay 100%. If you have a different insurance I can look it up and see which doctor would be the best help in getting you a prescription. 9 out of 10 people buy over the counter brands (like most of the ones I have on my site) and don't know that if they have a diagnosis they don't have to pay a penny. (Some manufacturer's will ship out the compression machine and send the bill in up until the last day of the year to give you time to pay your deductible) This is by request only.

Note: I cannot sell the Lympha Press without a prescription. These are easy to get and so far not one single person has ever been turned down by their insurance with valid prescription.
Inside a Lympha Press - Make sure you try to get a prescription for a 12 chamber compression machine, mainly if you are using it for your arms. It feels way better than a 4 chamber and even better than their 8 chamber model.
If your legs look anything like this, then it's pretty much guaranteed if you go to the right person you can easily get a prescription where your insurance will cover the entire expense. The Lympha pump is the most prescribed brand on the market.
This is a picture of the inside chambers of the Lympha Presss. There is no backflow or any gaps between chambers. Their 12 chamber overlapping sleeve system is the most comfortable sleeve I used especially in the 26 seconds it took to do a full cycle on the one I was in.
You can set each of the 12 chambers (or 4 or 8 chambers in those models). If it has too much or too little pressure just say in zone 6 you can adjust it. You can do it on their machine or on the computer if you want to do it faster.
Note: The Lymphapump now has the peristaltic option mode but not many people use it. It will have that same peristaltic gradient that the Normatec has for those that are familiar with how that feels.
The Lympha Jacket™ is super cool and if you get one of these paid by your insurance company you may appreciate this just as much as the leg sleeve.
You put this on just like you would a normal jacket. It does the arms and chest and gives a great shoulder massage and does the back and stomach. This has 24 chambers that overlap. Getting my whole upper body drained versus just doing the legs. Having both the leg sleeves and jacket gives a whole body compression that most people don't experience when just getting the leg sleeves.
