Doing lymph drainage some compression machines move more teaspoons of lymph fluid per minute that others. The brand that gives the most lymph turns per minute without back flow should move the most teaspoons of lymph per session. When doing lymph drainage 3 teaspoons per minute is what I aim for. I would only do longer sessions and more more lymph per session if I am doing lipolysis. Most people go right to bed and do not do any lipolysis right before their session. Doing a lymphatic session with compression boots is only half the treatment.

Note: I've learned that if doing lipolysis before the session, a session that was an hour might give the same results in about 30 to 45 minutes due to the heavy lymph flow. Many people that have swelling in their legs can appreciate this more.

Some of the things I look for when trying to move the most lymph in a session are overlapping air chambers or brands that don't put gaps in their chambers.

Note: Removing too much toxic lymph can help bring back vitality as well as destroy if the toxins cannot be processed. Doing this for 30 minutes can move around 120 teaspoons of lymph per minute to the liver. People that are very toxic might find that they need to do shorter session times but more often. Moving 4 teaspoons of lymph per minute can cause many problems if not on a good probiotic or if the person has a messed up gall bladder. When the fat soluble oils are being burned in the liver they can leave ashes and residue just like ashes in a fireplace. If the there is not enough of a vacuum and the pressure is not gentle enough the one way valves can't pump as much fluid and less flush. There has to be just enough pressure to raise the one way valves to build up just enough pressure to raise the flaps on them so the fluid can pass along.

If the main reason for using a compression machine is for lymph drainage I always make sure the sleeve has the least back flow. Let me know on my compression quiz if you are interested mostly for lymphatic drainage. Take my compression quiz here.

Moving too much lymph can cause new swelling if the lymph system can't handle the fluid. Some of the higher end brands are actually too good at moving the lymph. Some of the 8 chamber foot sleeve brands mimic the body's movement so good it actually can be moving too much lymph than the liver can process. The really high end brands are usually only sold by prescription and the entire inflation of all 8 chambers take less than 30 seconds and have less than a 5 second rest.
