Recovery Pump:

The Recovery Pump is the lightest weight of all the brands I tested and is the 2nd most powerful compression boots after the Normatec. The Recovery Pump is better than every other compression boots that I reviewed other than Normatec and BAO. They are $500 cheaper than the Normatec that gives 110mmhg. The Recovery Pump goes up to 100mmhg.

The Recovery Pump has the quickest cycle time for the amount of pressure it goes up to at 100mmhg. It takes about 45 to 60 seconds to do an entire flush with all 4 chambers. It also has the pause period like the Bao and Normatec.

The Recovery Pump at 100mmhg feels way stronger than almost all the others that claim they go up to 100mmhg. If you compare Normatec at 110 and then 100 on this one you can feel the slight difference in pressure. But when I tried 7 of the other brands I lined up after this it's easy to know when others are trying to scam me into thinking their compression boots actually go up to 100mmhg.

Note: the way to tell is to put on a Recovery Pump boot on one leg and a different brand on another leg. Set them both to the same mmhg that the claim. If both of them are at the same pressure it should feel nearly the same. I am not talking about the way it compresses but the static pressure or holding pressure. There is a huge difference in the Normatec in the way it feels on my legs than other compression boots due to their patent that no one has copied. For 500 dollars cheaper (at least the price that I can get them different at), the Normatec is super powerful and made better than every other compression boot I have tried under its price.

Note: infusing the boots makes a night and day difference in my treatment. I urge anyone considering using compression to infuse first. It is a game changer. I have over 600 videos that I have done showing how it works. It is actually my main business infusing things. I have been infusing since 2008 which people can see my early Youtube videos up until now. I get the same response from nearly everyone.

The Recovery Pump was the first company I found that offers a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it. Now everyone is giving trials but The Recovery Pump company gives 100% and doesn't charge restocking fees. Read the fine print so you know. Some give 100% money back if it wasn't opened and 20% fee if they were used. (see my scam watch page and buyers guide page).

things that make the Recovery Pump different:
1. it was the quickest to inflate all 4 chambers. It took 30 seconds. Most take a minute to 2 minutes. It has more flushes per session (see my lymph turns per session page). If you study the release/remove theory, this one has more flushes per session while other brands have longer holds and less flushes per minute. Depending on one's body ecology, I would recommend one way over the other. Depending on what the person is trying to recover from, the quick 2 sequences per minute (30 seconds each) or a longer sequence may be better. I don't know until I know the reason someone is using it. Someone with severe swelling or an athlete with sore muscles may want different extremes.

Note: some people may have a hard time releasing and might need more flushes per session while others may have a compromised body and may need a longer session but with less lymph turns per minute. Also, if the bile can't emulsify all the waste then removing too much lymphatic waste might be counterproductive and go back to the extracellular fluid where it once was.

NOTE – This uses two separate hoses to connect to the pump – can time consuming for those that are used to the brands that have one pump.

Recovery Pump vs Normatec Recovery
The Recovery Pump is in the same Tier1a as the Normatec but works on a totally different compression type. The Recovery Pump uses sequential air compression while Normatec has peristaltic compression. (pulse wave format) From a medical standpoint this is called peristaltic compression. It moves up your legs so if it were 12 air chambers, it would inflate the 1 2 and 3 and then deflate number one.  Then it would inflate number 5 and deflate number 2. Normatec doesn't have the sequential. It has the peristaltic. They operate on different cycles. Peristaltic since it's not compressing entire leg is more comfortable. Historically, sequential is more effective but not as comfortable. Those that have lipadema/lymphadema usually prefer the sequential as it's more effective. It is easier to handle higher pressure squeeze if peristaltic like on the Normatec. See my Normatec review here.
Note: those that are infusing their compression sleeves who go up to higher pressures is not recommended. Just because the voltage is raised doesn't mean the body is able to handle more pressure than is normally uncomfortable.
